I am using the Zaurus mainly as a reading device and as a convenient dictionary. For reading, I prefer Opie-reader by Tim Wentford, which can communicate with ZBedic by Latchesar Ionkov for very convenient lookup of unknown words.
ZBedic also allows for very efficient compression of the dictionary, without comprimising on the lookup speed. I have written a perl script to convert Jim Breen's EDICT for ZBedic. The resulting file can be downloaded here. I plan to add more dictionaries as soon as I have time to convert them.
